This book is an excellent compendium of case studies and technical articles. Its form is appropriate for the material it presents; however given most material is circa pre-1994 and there have been significant changes to the rural fencing environment driven by natural disasters, land usage, demographics, technology, etc, perhaps it is time to bring the publication up to date. Resilience to natural disasters, the uptake of mechanisation and fencing costs are some areas that stand out for updating.
