Self-propelled sprayer ownership is continuing to rise driven by convenience, field efficiency and crop canopy clearance for late-season spray applications in crops like canola. With ever evolving features, increasing tank capacities and expanding boom construction and operating width selections, Kondinin Group researchers Mark Saunders, Josh Giumelli and Ben White inspected the latest in self propelled sprayers including some still deemed as ‘production prototypes’ by manufacturers. While testing for boom stability over the standard Kondinin Group test track will have to wait until enough models are commercially available to warrant testing planned for mid-2023, this Research Report highlights the latest features and specifications of the spectrum of available self-propelled sprayers.

Self propelled sprayers inspected:

  • Agrifac Condor Endurance II
  • Apache 1050
  • Case IH Patriot 50 Series
  • Goldacres G6 Series 2 Crop Cruiser
  • Hagie STS20
